DiDA Assessment Database

David has created a superb database application which will enable to you mark students' portfolio work week by week, providing useful AFL comments for the student and helping to keep the assessment workload under control for you.

His database allows you to record the assessment per student per unit and then provide nicely formatted printed reports which could be sent to parents, thus keeping them informed about progress on the course.

The database is written in Access 2003 and although it has been branded for David's school, this could easily be amended to suit your own establishment.

The DiDA Assessment Database is already set up for you with the DiDA criteria and graphics loaded. It has the Westlands School logo on but you can easily replace this for your own school logo.

If you like the DiDA database but find it doesn't quite meet your needs or you want to use something similar for a different course, Davide has written 'The Student Assessment Database Readme.pdf' which gives straightforward instructions on how to set up a similar database using the 'Student Assessment Database' as a starting point.
